In the same spirit of Thomas Paine’s compelling, patriotic warnings “Common Sense”, Killing of America is a straight forward and impassioned call to action to all within this great country. Just as had existed during this country’s early days and reoccurring again, America is literally being bombarded from within and without by forces and influences that portend terminal endings for all that we would hold dear. Virtually all are either directly or indirectly created or aggravated via self originated infections and afflictions.
Our freedoms are in dire jeopardy. The critical options presented are very real. Either stand tall to recover and protect or be forced onto our knees through enslavement and destitution. All Americans need to wake up and heed the warnings that abound from all directions. Not later, but right NOW!
Perhaps it should be phrased differently.
Consider the actual costs for our freedoms. There are now over one million military dead and counting. Countless millions more have lost limbs or suffered fractured minds/spirits. Indelible life time scars remain for hundreds of millions affected families, friends, and loved ones. Unfathomable trillions in resource costs (monetary and otherwise) have been expended and invested not to mention the incalculable sacrifices from the then living – all who unselfishly gave of themselves to preserve and defend our liberties.
Are there really any genuinely caring among our citizenry who would want to repeat all of those past sufferings, agonies, and excruciating experiences? Despite the apparent insanity of that question, a very real precipice for repeating all is upon us.
It is vital to our existence that an immediate accounting be made – right now? There needs to be an urgent call to action for effective new strategies to correct or remedy.
Those who want to reap the benefits of this great nation must bear the fatigue of supporting it. Thomas Paine
“Killing America” directly challenges every American to stop the nonsense.
This work challenges all to wake up before that irreversible “red line” has been crossed – that “line of no return” is imminently at hand.
What should be abundantly clear by now is that whatever has been offered up as convenient or viable has not, can not, and will not work – the ominous and adverse results speak for themselves! Optimism and hope are powerful tools and necessary ingredients for any “turn around”. However, standing alone none will solve the deep seated, embedded, extremely disturbing, and highly complex problems facing our nation.
We must instead put aside all unimportant differences. We must reset our priorities to the vital matters that can unite and rearm us ethically. We must get back to the business of recovering America’s greatness – or else!
“Killing America” emphatically offers up detailed straight forward, practical, readily accessible, and adaptable means or channels for each of us, individually and as a nation, to recover.
In every day sports lingo its time we all got “back to basics” As individuals and a country we are “out of balance”. Nothing so far is working. In the sports world and every day life, one simple commanding precept has always worked. It will work again. It’s time to get back to basics. It’s time to get back to fundamentals. First master those, then reset, and begin again.
In this case that means getting back to America’s “Character”- its core founding values. It means getting back to how and why we originally started, have thrived and prospered for the past 200 plus years. We must immediately initiate a radical shift from the usual circuitous paradigms of failure and stalemate. We have to get back to basics and fundamentals. Only then we can all restart our engines!
No matter how delineated those common bonds stem and originate from “objectively defined and practiced” core ethical values
To be one, to be united is a great thing. But to respect the right to be different is maybe even greater.
Without respect neither a man nor nation can have much of a future.
Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom. Thomas Jefferson
Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have. Margaret Mead
. . . Men ask for . . . fairness, and fairness only. This, so far as in my power, they, and all others, shall have. Abraham Lincoln
The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence. Denis Waitley
You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today. Abraham Lincoln
Accountability breeds response-ability. Stephen Covey
Though force can protect in emergency, only justice, fairness, consideration and cooperation can finally lead men to the dawn of eternal peace. Dwight D. Eisenhower
The only thing that will redeem mankind is cooperation. Bertrand Russell
* Genuine devotion to one’s country/patriotism/citizenship
The first requisite of a good citizen in this republic of ours is that he shall be able and willing to pull his own weight. Theodore Roosevelt
Citizenship is what makes a republic; monarchies can get along without it. Mark Twain
America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.
Harry S. Truman
* Moral courage to stand up and implement all of those values.
Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today’s world do not have. Ronald Reagan
If there is anything that links the human to the divine, it is the courage to stand by a principle when everybody else rejects it. Abraham Lincoln
Coupled and reinforced with objective, reasoned thinking all represent the “American Character”. That framework fostered our founding as a free democratic republic. All represent foundations that have made us the world’s beacon for freedom and liberties. Without moral values within and without there can never be a vibrant America – it’s really that simple.
Character, in the long run, is the decisive factor in the life of an individual and of nations alike. Theodore Roosevelt
“Killing America” provides a detailed blueprint on how each of us can recapture America’s true essence. Given the stakes of living in freedom or succumbing to the worst of all down side options, we must regroup and rethink. We must reset our priorities to the vital matters that can and have always united us. We must reset and rearm ethically. We must now reverse course to recover America’s greatness.
The author/writer (a recognized expert across a wide diversity of professional disciplines, seasoned business executive/entrepreneur, former co-head of a prestigious national law firm, Taekwondo black belt 4th Dan Master, national role model champion, etc.) has repeatedly proven through a life time of direct, hands-on, down in the trenches experiences and involvements that all proffered recovery mechanisms work in the real world. All are practical and viable. All have already been repeatedly and successfully employed in real life.
“Killing America” makes a direct and open challenge to every American. Take the time. Share the journey through this work to see for yourself. Adopt a real path for self enhancement and national regeneration.
This work is about individual “empowerment” – pathways that work in the real world. This is about empowering each other and saving our country. This is about reenergizing the “American Character”. This is about saving ourselves and future generations from virtually certain cataclysmic endings.
What have you got to lose? Actually just about everything you hold dear!
There exist at least five broad categories, bridges or conduits which have worked effectively in the past and can again. It’s about bringing all of them together into cohesive focus and purpose. It’s about reuniting back into common bonds and mutually adopted character foundations:
* Proper sports/physical activity involvements, with an emphasis on the martial arts, most especially within the art/sport of Taekwondo – in fact specifically embodying all of the character traits for genuine successes in life;
* Education (all levels) – Full, detailed analyses of America’s rampant educational deficiencies and failures (primary, secondary, collegiate, graduate levels to include all post vocational arenas) – how all can be successfully realigned, rectified, and corrected;
* Harnessing environmental issues and challenges which affect each and all of us;
* Our mutual citizenship duties to maintain and preserve our freedoms, without which there can be no America;
* Recognizing common religious ethical beliefs and influences that can unite and re energize for positive outcomes; and
* Channeling music and the arts which have always provided commanding bridges for mutual betterment unity, focus and harmony.
All have worked exceedingly well in the past. All can work again. All have the potential to solidify us back into “common bonding” of purpose and visions. We must return again to being grounded of character excellence, all cemented through thinking objectively and rationally. Getting “back to basics” is simply doing what has always worked.
It is the endemic foundational thread of our national fabric. All offer boundless opportunities to educate, stimulate, reenergize, and unify. All can and should be integrated and intertwined to the maximum extent possible across all facets of living.
There are really no boundaries to our horizons for successes. Our citizenry’s innovative visions and creatively applied energies to stand up and be counted lie at our very core. We already have the requisite tools, know how, and mechanisms to effect immediate change to save our country.
It really comes down again to a simple, straight forward precept – either use those tools, resources, and drive to recover or lose it all!
“Back to basics” is both a process and an end result, individually and as a nation.
The time is NOW to wake up and get the job done! There are no other options.
Either stand up, regroup ethically with objective applied reasoning or be vanquished.
